Alison Paige Steele, Associate IIDA

With more than 12 years of design experience, Alison has worked on a variety of projects, both large and small. As a Principal and Designer, she oversees the aesthetic and strategic direction on projects as well as manages the firm’s business, contracts, vendor negotiations, and budget development. In close partnership with clients and consultants, Alison is known for her energy, resourcefulness, and methodical attention to detail. Prior to founding A + S Design Inc., Alison worked as a Project Manager and Designer at Alliance Architecture, as well as a Senior Interior Designer at Philip Szostak Associates and at Bell Cline Associates in Chapel Hill.

Drawing on her training, Alison has a passion for all things related to design, particularly researching trends as they relate to individuals and their institutions and how people interact with, and think about design components and results.
